Cameroon Support Organization

Cameroon Support Organization (CAMSO) was created to benefit the marginalized rural people in Cameroon, Central Africa.  You are undoubtedly aware of the current conditions in most rural parts of Africa, and you are probably appalled at the extreme hardship and deprivation of people in Cameroon, especially the women and children.  This was our experience.  We are two retired teachers, Susan and Jackie, from Fort Collins, CO.  We saw how hard the African people work under harsh conditions and we searched for ways to help, finally deciding upon the formation of the Cameroon Support Organization, a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.  We are personally involved in policy development and oversight.   

Our Mission

Our purpose is to help the people of Cameroon help themselves in a grass-roots effort to improve the quality of their lives. We have taken on projects that we feel are the most important and that we are able to oversee effectively. We have a deep commitment to the people of Cameroon and are working with them to improve their lives. Our organization depends on the donations of caring and concerned people to help the people of Cameroon realize their dreams.

We are in collaboration with several Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) that focus on projects to enhance and support integrated sustainable rural development.
